The auntieChef team: three time-pressed foodies on a mission. Okay, so maybe we’re a tad geeky, too.
Swaroop – A doctor/ retail consultant/ entrepreneur, Swaroop is an expert at being calmly restless and purposefully random. He misses his mom’s Konkani-style crab curry (undoubtedly the best in the world), and has gotten lost all over the globe in search of the authentic. He’s passionate about strengthening communities by cultivating small-scale entrepreneurs and buying local. At auntieChef, he’s the marketing/non-techie guy.
Eran – With over 15 years of engineering and management experience, Eran likes both food and technology, making him a perfect Geek-In-Residence (GIR). After living on the West coast for what seems like forever, he’s made the trek Eastward to join the auntieChef team.
Yael – A former geek (that’s how she met Eran) and retail consultant (yup, that’s how she met Swaroop), Yael caught the entrepreneurship bug quite recently but is still stuck with it for life. With a mom and 2 grandmas who were always told they must open a restaurant but never did, Yael is excited to help great cooks launch and grow their food businesses, and make great homestyle food accessible to everyone. At auntieChef, she’s a Jack-of-all-trades, and master of keeping the other guys in line.
